Roxy Erickson is the photographer who shot the cover of Urban Velo #16. Originally from Madison, WI, Roxy lives and works in London. Already an established professional with clients such as Island, Loaded, The Guardian and Brooks, she’s recently started a new venture called Bicycle Images.

When she’s not behind the lens, Roxy can often be found on the polo court. She’s been playing hardcourt bike polo for almost four years, and has been a member of the London League since its inception. She says her team, Black Rebel Bike Polo Club, are the best dressed team in London (in large part because they’re sponsored by Chunk Clothing). Never content to just take part in things, Roxy was the director of the first ever European Hardcourt Bike Polo Championships in 2009.
