From January 16th, Team Recoat member, Mark Lyken, will be in Residence at Recoat Gallery, creating a series of original paintings for his first solo exhibition. The show will consist of a series of new works that he describes as “Abstract Meditations on the Digital World.”
“As our interactions and communications become progressively more mediated and facilitated by technology, our connections to one another seem increasingly fragile. As we become increasingly connected through personal technology and social networks are we becoming alienated from each other and ourselves?”

You’ll certainly get noticed riding on this Trek Bicycle …
Trek Bicycle and international poster phenomenon ARTCRANK have unveiled a new aesthetic for Trek’s popular District line. The Trek District ARTCRANK Edition combines Trek’s top commuter bike with graphics created by ARTCRANK Lead Designer Rob Angermuller (Lifter Baron). Hand painted and assembled by hand at Trek’s Waterloo, WI manufacturing facility, the custom project — only a handful of bikes will be made — was an opportunity for both Trek and ARTCRANK to take their love for bikes and art in a new direction.
Michael Leon illustrates a short but intimate book titled A Curious Catalogue… this looks pretty amazing!
