Redbull Minidrome Glasgow Winners!

First of all I’d like to say a massive thanks to Redbull and ChargeBikes for bringing the Minidrome event to Glasgow it was awesome!

I personally had a blast (even with a crippled back) and definitely drank to many Redbull’s. On top of that it was super cool to meet so many nice people including a brief chat with Andy from Fixed Mag and many other riders from all over Scotland, UK and Europe.

The racing action was good and the minidrome felt really nice to ride… although I think for me a bit more practice and a different bike setup would work better for next time… anyway I was so stoked to have raced and to have made it to the quarter finals, but when I saw on the big screen I was drawn up against the record holder and the overall winner Toms Alsberg of Latvia I felt my time was up. A sick day by all and I look forward to the next one!

Redbull Minidrome Glasgow Results

  1. Toms Alsberg – Latvia
  2. Christian Vollmer – Germany
  3. Ross Crook – Edinburgh, Scotland UK
Next stop is Manchester on the 22nd Oct. Maybe see you there!
